New Social Site Learnist for Educators'

added by Aaron Burcell via thejournal.com

We're super pleased that T|H|E Journal's Stephen Noonoo wrote about Learnist. Our goals are a bit more ambitious than the title suggests though -- we're about learning, not educators. It's an important distinction. There are about 3M teachers and professors in the US. And there are about 300M people learning every day. We're trying to enable all forms of learning.

He points out the educational value that's existed since the first days of the site: "Several educators have already begun curating lessons with the site, using it to express concepts like grammer, complex fractions, and decimals." -Stephen Noonoo
