At the Scene of the Accident

www.bbc.co.uk

Rule number one: Survey your scene! One victim can quickly become two. EMT's understand that we are of no use to a victim if we become injured ourselves. Learn how to see hidden dangers at the scene of an accident. Take a minute to observe and secure your scene before approaching anyone in need of help. Calling 911 is a must for any accident. You never know what might happen and 911 operaters are trained to talk you through any situation.
