Is there any way to make the information boxes smaller or have a design like pinterest? It just seems there needs to be more flexibility in how the boards are displayed to help you teach a person... the way it's shown .. big boxey box things are... boxey. ... it needs to be more fun and have transition devices to move from one learning box to another in the same stream.

Is there another way to get help? Some kind of real support where I can create tickets? There are quite a few bugs and it's frustrating searching for answers in this format.

Is there a setting I can use so that when my students follow a link to my learnist site it will open to my "boards" first and not my "activity"??
Hi Meg - If you send a link to your profile, they will be directed to your boards. The only time you're directed to your feed is when looking at your own profile. Feel free to email us at help@learni.st if you have additional questions!

I was hoping to embed a board on a blog. I checked out your learning on how to do that. But when I clicked on More, I didn't see the embed option. Any suggestions?
If you're having second thoughts about which category you placed your board, can you do something about it? For example, can you move your board from the News category to Education? Or add your board under both, or is that discouraged?
You can change a board's category by clicking the edit button to the right of the board title - although it's currently limited to 1 category per board. Write us at help@learni.st if you have any other questions!

I was wondering why Prezis don't play why they are in full screen version. If I watch it at the board level, then it works fine, but if I am at the individual learning level, it won't work...urg!

Hi, is there a way of embedding code so that use of the boards and learnings can be tracked via google analytics? It would be great to see what content most people are finding most interesting on a particular board.
open the board and look for a small blue up/down arrow icon next to the title of the board. It's the "reorder" icon.

Previously I was able to add text to my boards for instructions. I am not able to do that now. Any clue what happened?
For learnings you've added, there's an edit button in the learning header. You may delete the learning from that form.

Thanks for your help w/uploading google doc. I saw note about only uploading authored works. I am using Learnist to create a resource for community college educators and I wanted to provide links to published article/s from ed. journals. It would be very helpful for them. Is this allowable? Credit is given and original citation is clear. Is this okay?

I’m having the same problem that Alllison Pilley reported 2 months ago, i.e. not being able to add a board. I’m on IE9 which is our company standard but do I have to have Chrome? I note that Allison now has 10 boards so she must have come to some kind of resolution.

the article I want to publish on my learning is way too long and formatting is all messed up when I copy and paste. I'd like to attach/upload as a document like I do on google sites...is that possible?
Deidre, you can upload the file to google docs as a document or pdf then add the published version as a learning -- similar to the FAQ to the left. Cheers!
Click the paper & pencil icon, next to your Board Title to edit your board. There's a 'delete board' link on the bottom left of that pop-up window.

Trying to use this for a class project. One student tried about a dozen times to pin something and each time the blue and white box popped up to select "Add from a URL" it quickly flashed away before I could cut and paste the URL and hit NEXT. This happened numerous times. Any suggestions? Is there a specific browser we should be using or a setting in the browser that is off?

Can't seem to add anything from PBS's Tehran Bureau (errors out every time) - any idea why? VERY frustrating!
Sean - some boards can't be added because the parent website (like PBS or Frontline) won't allow it. If you send us the link to help@learni.st we will gladly further look into it.

I’m getting extremely frustrated!!! On my HP Folio, I can’t get my profile to stay on the screen, it keeps going back to the home screen. On my desktop, I click “+Add”, the options of adding a new URL, Board, etc. comes up. I click on add URL, then the box immediately disappears. I have so much to add, but can’t accomplish it!!!! Help!

Hi, love Learnist but want to change the email address my notifcations go to: is the possible?
I was just wondering about that myself. I am using an iPad. Did a search and found out that on an iPad you are unable to add boards for now and must do that on the Learnist web site.
