The South-by-South-West (SXSW) Interactive conference turns 20 years old this year. Each year, I go to Austin to learn about the year's agenda in digital media, social, mobile and software development. Here are my top takeaways.

Thanks for the tips Sarah -- I just ate my second round of Korean-Mexican tacos... with kimchi fries. Holy cow, so good.

The MakerBot is huge--I've got a huge machine shop at my school, but this will really take the makerspace movement at the school level into the stratosphere, especially as the price decreases. I expect this to be a game-changer in the field.
Rob -- just glad that this part of Texas is getting some rain! But, yes, enjoying Austin as always.
