Thank you, Brandon, for my new favorite word. I've always loved the look of aged and dilapidated things, how nature has taken its toll and made our things its own. Never had a word to describe it, though.

"Wabi-sabi," Japanese for finding beauty in decay, age, and imperfection, is one of my favorite words.
I agree. I would never change something like my imperfect nose, it's simply too beautiful. :) (semi-awful Jewish joke, yes still true.)
It's a term comes up quite often in ceramics. There's a book called "Wabi-sabi for the Potter. it's just rare that someone knows about this lovely term.
