This is a great list! I have some recommendations for ya if you're interested -- check out Robert Greer's mystery, Astride a Pink Horse, and Victoria Zackheim's upcoming anthology, Exit Laughing: How Humor Takes the Sting Out of Death (it's a laugh so hard you cry kind of read).

Shana, awesome stuff. Also, curious - how many books do you usually read. Top five favorites?
thanks, rg! read at least a book a month, sometimes two. gosh, top five books ever? ranges from the great gatsby to the giving tree. way to hard to par down!
BC is book club for short. we can't be bothered to write book club all the time;) and my fave of our bc books? tough call, but i'm going with city of thieves or the paris wife! both wonderful storytelling.
